The Yamaha APX600 thinline cutaway acoustic-electric combines incredible comfort, easy, top-fret access and an incredible sound ready for all stages in your life. It features a distinct oval soundhole for thicker lower-mid response and a more attention-getting low end, with a sweet abalone rosette...
If your looking for a great sounding electric acoustic that easily transitions from a small profile neck electric then the APX-600 is a great choice. Sounds great right out of the box and the intonation is spot on. It also has a very fast action for an acoustic.
I have played guitar for 50+ years and have owned several. Let me start off by saying that once I got this one set up, it is as playable as any I have owned. Out of the box, the action was way too high, but after cranking down on the truss rod (with the included wrench), I got it down to where it...
I looked at alot of other guitars before buying this one and man did I make the right choice. Great sounding and easily playable Musical Background: Been playing for several years but not professional Musical Style: Blues and rock and roll
Love it, its a perfect size, thin and small.. Good sound..
This is a well made, well finished, good looking guitar. The set-up is good & plays well straight from the box. It's a small body guitar so don't expect the same tones as a dreadnought, but it's easy to play & sounds good as an acoustic & amplified. For the price it's an excellent instrument.
This Yamaha show a very clean sound and sharpness!
This is a great sounding and playing electro acoustic guitar at an affordable price. Quality construction with a smooth satin neck and slimline body for ease of playing. lf you are looking for something a bit higher up than an entry grade instrument then this is the ideal next step.Highly...
Beautiful colour, body is finished to an extremely high standard gloss with a satin finish to the neck. Sounds great unplugged or amplified. Highly recommended.
Amazing guitar.
Absolutely love my purchase and everyone here are commenting on the beautiful colours, they all love it. For a strummer of my ability and someone who wants to take the next step forward as a guitarist this guitar is perfect.
As an electric guitarist in the '80s, if you wanted to play acoustic on stage there were few options available. In 1987, Yamaha made the first acoustic guitar that could be taken from a guitar rack, plugged in and played at volume, problem free; no more howling feedback, misplaced mics or dreaded extended sound checks.
The latest APX600 features a unique under-saddle piezo pickup. The Yamaha proprietary SRT transducer is featured in the highly-acclaimed A Series range. It has a natural tone and the feedback rejection and mix-friendly sound guitarists crave.
Although its style has evolved, the essence of the APX remains the same. Today, it boasts a more natural look, a deeper body for better bass response and greater volume, and a new non-scalloped bracing pattern for a responsive, dynamic tone. It combines all the attributes that make it one of the world’s best-selling acoustic-electric guitars.
